A new realm of social, creative and gastronomic experience!
A magical journey of creating, painting, eating, drinking and socialising together for an evening packed with art, food, bliss and loving people in the heart of Lucerne.
Paint your own masterpiece under the professional yet playful artistic instruction of Philipp Gurtner, whose teaching will guide you through all obstacles of getting your ideas onto a canvas to call it your very own creation and mastery after this evening. Be open. You will be able to forget the struggles of life for this wonderful evening.
Things to bring with you for the evening:
1. Enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to paint the masterpiece you always wanted.
2. A4-sized printout of a picture of your choice. This will be used as the base for the painting you will create at this ArtBite event. A digital photo reference might be printed in the phrontistery as well.
3. An appetite for Bite-sized snacks that will be made available for you on this journey of artistic discovery through in-between food tasting with a raclette machine for bite sized Pizzas.
A photographical reference/template, easels, canvases, palettes, cups, pencils, erasers, brushes, colours, aprons.
Guests can eat and drink before, during and/or after the workshop in the "bar" or kitchen.
Workshop Teacher: Philipp Gurtner
Hostess for the evening: Neda Moasser (The Phrontistery)
Philipp hass been working as a freelancing artist for a decade now and has organised and directed several humanitarian mural painting projects in international children's aid organisations in addition to classical landscape and portrait painting. He is also engaged in illustrating children's books and spiritual board game designs.
Fine Art as well as Street Art belong to Philipp's deepest passions. Combining them with an educational and mediating value has led him to his independence. He loves nothing more than to let people immerse themselves in this incredibly exciting creative culture, not only to show them the meditative healing that lies in art and painting but also to teach people and let them be part of a new learning process. "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. All you need for it are a few tools, a little instruction and a vision in your mind."
